Frosty, the Snowbear. He has a magic hat. Well honestly we're not sure if it's magic but he certainly looks good in it. This is another all original design by the wonderfully talented Vicky Stearns. The Snowbear is around 7" tall and this particular one is made from some German string mohair. His eyes are vintage buttons, as well as the buttons down the front. With an old hat and scarf to fight the chill, he is ready fro what ever comes his way. He is not just a bear of the wintertime, but will be a delightful companion no matter what the season. He is weighted at the bottom so he won't fall over in the north wind.

"Frosty the Snowman" is a popular song written by Walter "Jack" Rollins and Steve Nelson, and first recorded by Gene Autry and the Cass County Boys in 1950. It was written after the success of Autry's recording of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" the previous year; Rollins and Nelson shipped the new song to Autry, who recorded "Frosty" in search of another seasonal hit. Like "Rudolph", "Frosty" was subsequently adapted to other media including a popular television special. The song was originally titled "Frosty the Snow Man".
