Hollander. "The Old Bear and The Sea." Hollander the first bear Vicky and I have ever made from sealskin. This coat came from the Hollander Fur Company In fact we disapprove of the harvest of baby seals to make coats. But once they have been made into a coat there is no going back. So we felt quite all right about buying this wonderful vintage sealskin coat to give it a new life as a Stearnsy Bear. It has a gorgeous look and made such a distinctive bear. He's a fine bear now and will still be a fine bear in a 100 years.
