Stearnsy Bears Dressed In Your Own Clothes

Here at Stearnsy Bears we have a pretty fair history of doing wonderful bears for other people in outfits they supply or otherwise incorporating personnel things into one our dressed bears. We do not make bears to fit specific size outfits. But Vickie is really talented when it comes to altering something to fit one of our bear sizes. We have done a incredibly wide range of different bears using those wonderful old treasures that many folks still have. Many wedding couples from bridal attire. If you don't want to cut up your wedding dress, well, we understand. But some people have and they have something that won't be hanging in the closet for the next decade. Old sports and military uniforms, baby gowns and clothes, antique adult clothing, you name it we'll think about trying it. Old things that add a personnel accent are also great. Old eyeglasses, costume jewelry, hats, ties and scarves also work. It also allows these things to be out where they can be enjoyed and the old stories told. So I wasn't kidding. Give it some thought and maybe you'll thing of something that would look great on a Stearnsy Bear 50 years from on.

Miss Karly

Miss Karly is a 16" mohair Stearnsy Bear that is wearing her actual christening gown. If you have something that would look good on a bear give us a call. Here is another picture of Miss Karly.

The Chefs

This is a couple that Vicky dressed for a lady whose daughter and her son who were studying at culinary school.

The Old Chief is the son of a custom order we did about 10 years ago. But you get the idea, his coat and boot are actually old discarded fire department issue. Click for more pictures.
